Setting Up Utilities After You Move

After moving, you need to connect electricity, gas, water, and internet in your own name. Applying before move-in lets you start life without gaps.

Setup order

1. Electricity and gas: apply with the local utility company for your move-in date
2. Water and trash: often handled through the city or apartment office
3. Internet: compare carriers, then book installation (takes 2–3 days)

Some companies require a deposit if you have no credit. Setting up autopay prevents shutoffs from late payments.
